Friday Feast.. Take 4..

Appetizer
What is your usual bedtime? Do you like that, or would you rather it be different?

Hmmm.. This totally depends. Sometimes 11:30, sometimes 3 or so in the morning. And no, I do not like this and am working on getting this to a more normal, “regular” time.. My mind just runs a million miles a minute and sometimes I just can’t slow it down, so going to bed is typically senseless since I’d just lay there thinking and unable to sleep..

Soup
When it comes to advice, do you give more or receive more?

huh.. I really don’t know. I think people generally come to me for advice for more often than I seek it. And when someone comes to me to GIVE me advice, this is generally not received well, unless I’ve asked for it.. I tend to be highly opinionated (and always correct) and because of some horrible character flaw find it incredibly difficult at times not to give advice on something I feel strongly about.

Salad
Describe a memorable meal you’ve had.

Would have to be a meal I had recently at the Flat River Grill, or perhaps downtown at Leo’s (best seafood you will ever have).

Main Course
Name a work of fiction that affected the way you think about something.

Is the Karma Sutra considered a work of fiction??? lol

Dessert
What is your favorite type of fruit juice?

Risking looking like a moron, and I cringe as I type this, but does Apple Cider fall under the “Fruit Juice” category? If it does, then that is my favorite, which leads me to think - If apple cider was available all year long, would I like it as much as I do? Probably not.. Not sure if its this way in other parts of the world, but here in Michigan its generally only available during autumn and makes me really wish it was fall right now.

Stumble it!

Ohh, apple cider! We actually live right near an orchard that makes the only unpasturized apple cider in the state. And it tastes so much better than what we can ge tat the grocery store. We love fall so we can visit the orchards, alot!

Hey, thanks for stopping by for my feast. You will have to check out the book, The Earth is Enough. It is just really great, I’m sure you will like it as there is a whole lot of fly fishing in it.

Apple cider is available in Indiana pretty much all year. You just have to look for it. I saw it at the grocery store the other day. I have to say though, I only like it in the fall, something about it…

    Take care!

    Definitely share the same Appetizer.
Soup: How can you be always right when i am?
Salad: would help if you told us what you had, or cant you remember?
Main: Looking at pictures in this as a child when visiting aunties house has scarred me mentally.
Dessert: Moron! Apple cider brings back bad memories of Beer Festival were i drank a lot of this and perry (which is pear cider).

    Ya Wanker Claire!!!

At the Flat River grill I believe I had the Arctic Char which was excellent, and at Leo’s I had the Scottish King Salmon, which was without question the best fish I’ve ever had, salmon or otherwise..

The Kama Sutra is not a work of fiction. It is a “To Do” list.

I enjoyed your feast. LOL at your main course.
I have seen lemonade for the juice so I guess cider would have to count. One person tried wine for the juice..well it is made from grapes.
    Great Friday Feast!
    My feast is served.
    Have a wonderful day!

Love me the cider as well! I grew up back east, so i can relate to the specific part of the year thing.
Love the book, and the comment about to-do list… hmmm…

The artwork in those “Wild Things” books as a kid really disturbed me. Not the monsters — the monsters were silly. The artwork style gives me the heebee jeebies. I much prefer realism.

So, my only question is, with the Kama Sutra, what kind of illustration style do they use?
