If you look at the bottom of each post, you will now notice a new button called “StumbleUpon”. If you haven’t used StumbleUpon yet, you should really give it a try!
StumbleUpon is a toolbar plugin for both IE and FireFox. You install the plugin, create a free account, and configure your options, which includes listing your interests. From the toolbar, you can now click on “Stumble” and it will randomly bring you to web pages based on your interests. From there, you can rate the site by giving a “thumbs up” or “thumbs down”, and may choose to write a brief review. The cool thing is that as you go, the more “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” you give, StumbleUpon is learning from you and ends up being very accurate in bringing you to pages that are relevant to you and your interests.
As you’re browsing a web page, you can then click thumbs up on it, and be the first person to review it. That page will then be spread to others with the same interests as you. Very cool.
So, go get “stumbling”… And when you find something interesting or cool here, do me the favor of clicking the StumbleUpon button!! Thanks!

I discovered stumble upon about a month ago; it’s a great resource. I recently discovered stumble upon video - also very neat.

I somehow managed to change the post to PRIVATE.. I have done this 3 or 4 times withing the last couple weeks, and its driving me INSANE!
I cannot thank you enough for “Stumbling” my post. I can’t believe the amount of traffic it has generated!!!!!

That’s SO weird that you posted this.
I’ve noticed some traffic coming in today from StumbleUpon but wasn’t quite sure what the deal was. I installed the toolbar - which I’ve looked at all afternoon - not knowing what the heck I was supposed to do with it!

Not weird at all Kai, I hear some ruggedly handsome blogger from Scotland is stumbling any good posts he finds on his friends blogs…
Someone stumbled one of my posts on Blog-Op and it resulted in nearly 10,000 visitors in about 3 weeks. Anytime I read a post I like on a blog now, I click ‘I Like It’ and hope they get some traffic out of it.
It’s way better than Digg, for Bloggers anyway.
