Well, I’d sure like to know the true identity of my 10,000th visitor, but unfortunately all I know is he/she is from Milan, New Mexico, United States…
Was sure looking forward to something big.. My friend Abraham from La Vie Graphite only missed it by 2, JC from castleruins by 3, and Claire over at A Little Piece of Me, by 4 visits…
And I still haven’t thought of an interesting contest to conduct here. I’ll keep thinking. If you have any ideas, feel free to let me know!

I’m curious - why is it bad that it’s a lurker? It’s one more person you’re getting to visit…perhaps one less now they’ve been outed as a ‘just’ person?

No, its not bad at all that my 10,000th visitor was a “lurker”. For whatever reason, the majority of my visitors are in fact “lurkers”.
I was just hoping to award the 10,000th visitor with a prize, and was planning on sending them a free 11X14 print of their choice from my portfolio.
And for what its worth, I didn’t say that it was “just a lurker”. I DID say that it was a “letdown” since I was looking forward to rewarding someone with a prize.
I’m sorry if what I wrote was taken negatively toward those who visit and chose not to comment. I realize a lot of my readers simply do not comment, and that is totally fine. I’m very thankful for ALL visitors, those that comment often, rarely, or not at all. :]
