Gone Fishin’..

Ryan Flyfishing - Ryan Velting

Well, not really “gone fishing”, but I decided to take off for a couple days and head south to Florida! I’ll be leaving tomorrow and getting back Sunday. I should have internet down there, but I’m not really sure how often I’ll be on, or posting (if at all).

I’ll be taking my camera gear (of course) and where I’ll be staying is bordered by nearly a thousand acres of protected wildlife preserve. My kind of place! Hopefully I’ll come back with some interesting photos. Perhaps some alligator pictures and other cool stuff.. We all know I generally throw caution to the wind when it comes to photography, so I’ll try for some alligator close-ups..

I better get packing!!!

    I am jealous! can’t wait to see what photos you get.
    Hang on! make sure they are crap otherwise i will have to read loads and loads of compliments when you post them and thats not good for you!lol!

    Wow, nice. I miss the old days when I could just pick up and go. Or better yet, plan on going somewhere without a care in the world. :P

    Hey Ryan, I thought about you the other day,,April 1st. Opening day of Trout season,,,when I passed by a stream and saw a guy fishing. I think it is a riot that they chose April fools day to start that,,,,the fish always get bigger that day,,,LOL. Have a great time in Florida,,,and remeber those aligators can run fast,,,,Be carefull!! And Enjoy!! Happy Trails!!!

    Yup, we’ve been best friends since something like third or forth grade, and often go shooting together!

    He’s a great guy, and a wonderful friend.
