  That is a great firework shot! I am still looking for a new camera and hoping the prices come down soon. Although mine is having a hard time holding a battery charge and is occasionally having issues with the LCD. Hopefully it will hold out until I get a new one!

  Hi Tami, to capture fireworks, all you need to really have is a camera capable of longer exposures (which a great many point and shoots can now do), and know how to use it!
