I will of course kick things off!
This certainly makes up for no photo hunt! god damn it! I was going to ask how you took it, then realised it would go right over my head.
Happy First Manic!
Hope you are feeling better soon xx

Ha ha.. Thanks Claire. After the steroids that were given to me earlier, and the pain meds I’m on, and the antibiotics, I’m actually feeling much much better.
This wasn’t really that tricky a photo to take. Just set up the camera on my tripos alongside the road, waited for cars, tripped the shutter, and exposed for roughly 12 seconds or so, at F14. Oh, I also fired the flash at the end to illuminate the sign.
Thanks as always!

Great shot.
Claire sent me your way a few days ago (I’m looking for a new camera) and you have some wonderful photography.
Inspiring.

Wow - my husband has a big camera but I wish he could use it like you do! What an awesome wonderful site you have, surely you must be shooting for some major pubs.

Great shot!
And thanks for explaining the details of your “how I took it” in the comment response to Claire.
I’m always amazed at the brilliance of creative photographers.
Thanks for participating in Manic Mondays!

Nice shot. Yeah, I lurk and I don’t comment. Sorry. I’ll do better in the future.

Hi Ed! I was honestly not trying to make anyone feel uncomfortable, just having a bit of fun!
Thanks for stepping from the shadows to say hello!
I look forward to hearing more from you.

I had to laugh at your comment a few back when you realized how many responses you were getting. It could be because you’re a powerhouse of a photographer!!! Great work…and I was telling Mo how I was playing in Kodak’s editing tools. Please do not link back to my spot. I will be horribly embarrassed. Honest. You’re a pro and I am so not…
I love the shot of the light house. Gorgeous!

Great shot. We have just started playing with the shutter speed shots on our camera.
I was really wishing I had a better camera to take fast pictures today while sledding with the kids (ours has a really slow load time).

God I know this is probably a stupid question,,,but does a digital camera,,,a Olymous FE-115,,have a shutter speed?

I love these time ellapsed pictures, there’s just something about them that amazes me. I think it goes back to my first photography class where I learned how to do it on a 35mm. Anyways, this is why I now need more than my point and shoot digital camera, but that is a long story that ends in… it won’t be a while until I get one.
