Movies & Music..

Well, saw the movie “Catch & Release”. Being a fly-fisherman, naturally I was intrigued. Besides being a bit of a “chick flick”, it really wasn’t all that bad. It’s a rather slow, semi-emotional love story (not generally my thing) that was pretty funny in parts. It involved fly-fishing, so that made up for some of the slowness. Alias’s Jennifer Garner stars in it, which was also another redeeming quality of the movie. A good date movie I suppose.

I’ve been a Norah Jones fan for quite some time, so I was excited to get her latest CD “Not Too Late”. It’s vastly different from her last albums, although if you have liked her music in the past, you should really enjoy it. Pretty much all the tracks are great, but my favorites so far are “Thinking About You”, and “Be My Somebody”. Worth mentioning is the fact that she either wrote or co-wrote every song on the album. It’s really a top notch CD and worth checking out.

Stumble it!

Well hi Helena! I think Norah is young, but maybe not quite that young.. (birthday is March 30, 1979), and yes, she is extremely talented.

Ha, you are the first to mention the different images in my header. I just launched that last night, right now there are four images that randomly appear.

And yes, that is my eye.. :]

Oh, gotta add, “Little Room” on Norah Jones’ album is quite catchy as well…

    ” you and me and,
    me and you,
    in my little room,
there’s room enough for us to do,
the things we like to do.

oops, i hit my elbow on the doorknob,
    its right there,
it’s by the bed next to my head,
    but i don’t even care.”

    And also “Not Too Late”

” but it’s not too late,
    not too late for love.

my lungs are out of air,
    yours are holding smoke,
and it’s been like that for so long.

i’ve seen people try to change,
and i know it isn’t easy,
but nothin’ worth the time ever is.

    and it’s not too late,
it’s not too late for love”

    Wow… Gotta love it!
