Life has just been incredibly busy this summer, but looks like it’ll be slowing down here shortly.
Let’s see.. Work is still as busy as ever and is going very well, albeit a bit stressful. A few months ago I bought a house and have been spending most of my spare time in the evenings and weekends working on it - its a bit of a “fixer-upper”. =) I moved into it several weeks ago, although I’m not quite done. I’ll post some before and after photos soon.
The girls are great.
Maddie is playing soccer, and last week scored 1 of the 4 goals for their team in their first game (which they won 4-1 by the way), and this week scored the only goal for her team.
Here she is kicking one of her goals. She loves it and is quite a natural. I’m SO proud of her..
Morgan is now in school, and is doing well. Daddy’s little girl.. She’s my crazy one who loves to cruise around with her dad in the Jeep with the top off.. Regardless of whether its supposed to rain or not.
I took a morning off working on the house yesterday, and went up to the Muskegon river to do some fishing. We had a great time and landed a lot of trout, and salmon. Was really a great time and felt good to get away for a little bit.
I’ll be checking in again soon, and promise to be around a lot more often (yeah i know i know - I’ve said that before). I’ll start putting together some before, during, and after photos of the new house. Talk to you all soon!!!!

Great to see a post from you and I’m so very glad that all is well. Your girls are beautiful and talented and it’s good that you are proud of both of them.
Cool on the new home even though it’s a fixer upper. If you can do the work and you enjoy it too then that’s the way to go. Have fun.
Just got back from a cruise to San Francisco and it was spectacular. I’ll try to post something this week. Way behind right now.
