What a breathtaking waterfall!
I played too
Kai // Mar 31, 2007 at 12:34 am
Gorgeous Ryan. It reminds me of waterfalls near Vancouver called Bridal Falls as they look just like a bridal veil.
No talking on the cell phone while taking this shot, right? (lol)

As usual a wonderful photo. Happy weekend.
Lulu // Mar 31, 2007 at 4:23 am
Wow…it almost looks like some kind of netting instead of water. Beautiful photo! However, makes me glad that it’s going to be in the high 70s in GA today! Looks very cold there…

Ryan, your photos are always inspiring.
I’ve never been to the UP, but this certainly makes me want to go!
I did a beach photo of Lake Michigan today.
Lissa // Mar 31, 2007 at 10:13 am
Great shot! It must have been really noisely.
srp // Mar 31, 2007 at 10:23 am
I will have to make a note of your settings and try this… of course that would mean traveling somewhere where there is actually snow… and a mountain stream. A gorgeous picture.
Anita // Mar 31, 2007 at 10:59 am
Absolutely beautiful photo!
yoshi // Mar 31, 2007 at 11:21 am
As usual awesome pic. was wondering what you’d post.
You know, I think there’s a wp plugin to display the exif data if you wanted to try that out to show the info for the particular shot. I’ve been trying to implement it on my site, I’m just too lazy to get the formatting right because you know i’m picky. lol

Not participating, just swinging by on my daily tour. This photograph is awesome. You are very handy with that camera of yours. Enlarging this shot is essential though, so those that don’t are missing out on some great detail… Question, are you ever going to tell us ladies where to find the other three guys on the coxless four team?
Bobbie // Mar 31, 2007 at 2:30 pm
Wow! That’s a lot of water! Looks peaceful yet loud!
Happy Hunting

What a beautiful, beautiful photo! I love seeing waterfalls and you captured a beautiful one.
meeyauw // Apr 1, 2007 at 11:36 am
I noticed the “not cropped” comment there. Yet the logs in the foreground are so low. It’s a great perspective (I’m trying to learn here from you!) If I get 1/4 good as you, I’ll be OK!
Ryan // Apr 1, 2007 at 3:21 pm
Hey everyone! As always, thank you SO much for all the nice comments. I truly appreciate it.
Meeyauw, yes this image is full frame, I didn’t have to crop anything. It helped get the low angle since I was standing in the river below the falls with my tripod set up in the middle of the river! :] Thank God for Gore-Tex boots!
aimee/greeblemonkey // Apr 12, 2007 at 10:42 pm
god, that one is amazing. I can’t do water to save my life.
