Thank You..

Tonight, I feel overwhelmed, and I really don’t know what else to write, but “thank you”.

So many people over the last week, even some of which I hadn’t even known before this week, have told me they’ve been praying for me, and for my recovery from the accident. I cannot begin to tell you what it means to me, and how I have actually felt your thoughts and prayers.

I met today with one of the surgeons that was there the night I rolled my Jeep, and he was amazed at the progress and speed of my recovery. As he removed the staples in my head, and the stitches around my ear (which a week ago was at risk of being lost), he told me that follow-up appointments would likely not be necessary, which was very shocking given the extensiveness of my injuries. He went on to tell me that the scars would be very minimal, which again was very surprising since they had to extract 3 chunks of glass out of my cheek, one which was embedded very near my eye.

The accident leaves me temporarily without a vehicle, the one possession I had of significant monetary value. And yet, because of my friends and family, I feel as though I’m the richest man in the world…

Stumble it!

    Hi Ryan,

I stumbled onto your blog & photography several months ago and just caught up recently about your accident. I am so glad to know you’re healing and have shared your story, prayers and concern with my family.

    Be well!

RYAN, Oh my goodness! I had no idea—I hadn’t logged on here for a short time and was totally shocked reading your posts–I felt my heart drop as I read……..please know that more prayers will be coming your way and keep the faith and always know there IS someone watching over you!!!! HE must have know it was not yet your time! If there is anything at all that I can do, don’t hesitate to ask. I can’t even imagine how you must be feeling, but I hope you continue to heal, quickly and completely. Take care!

Good to hear about your recovery. I knew you’d be doing better. :D

And yes, the vehicle is gone, but it’s easier to replace than yourself.

I am so glad to hear things are progressing well. Again, it is so neat to hear recognize the blessings. I, selfishly, am grateful your eye was spared because I would hate for your fantastic photography talent to be harmed by this unfortunate even :) My prayers, as well as my family members who are also big fans of your work, are with you!

Possessions can be replaced Ryan, you can’t. I’m so happy that your are coming along much better than expected. Another air hug coming your way. :)

Ryan, Hi! Did you loose any hearing in that ear? I hope not. I am glad you are on the mend, and with no wheels you my friend might walk and stumble upon more things to take a photo on, that you might have missed traveling fast. Looking foward to a photo, and sending smiles your way!!!

I’ve been at school doing a project late tonight. My mom told me earlier about the accident and I checked out the photos. It’s hard to believe all the accidents that have happened to you and you’re still alive and kicking. I was just praying and felt God wanted me to write you before bed. He’s wanting you to get down on your face and thank Him for His mercy. Praise God you’re doing well and that many people have prayed.

    God Bless
