I’ve decided I need to find a thesaurus so I can use better descriptive words for your fantabulous photos! I’m sure you’re getting tired of hearing how ‘amazing’ and ’stunning’ etc., I think they are.
Just wonderful! Did you get this in one shot do you have to take different parts and put them together? I often have to take more than one shot to get such wide angles.
Great shot ryan, as usual. I was just curious though, what was the exposure time on this shot? Man, that’s just a phenomenal job stitching the two together. I had a chuckle seeing your name up there too. hehe
Lynne - Welcome to my little space in Blogsphere! I’m flattered!!
Yoshi - Hey, I believe these (2) shots were around 15 seconds at f/13, something like that. There was quite a bit of light from the city lights and the cars, so exposure time wasn’t extremely long, much shorter in fact than most night shots I do.. :]
Holy freaking cow. I didn’t even hesitate and clicked for a larger view. Ryan, this is just … well heck, I can’t even describe it! It’s just da bomb! The light and dark contrast and it’s so CLEAR. And it’s as if the lightening is purposefully avoiding the lit part of the city.
Ryan, this photo is so cool. Lightning, night, lights, and raised roads. . what more could I ask for in one photo? Oh yeah, buildings and more nature. You just about covered it all.
It is always a delight to see your pictures. I love the way you caught the lights, lightning, street lights and even the ones coming from the buildings and houses. It must have been pretty late/or really early because I don’t see any cars at all or probably just the effect of the shutter , hmm no idea about cameras, sorry . I just click and that’s it.

Like Kai, I seem to be at a loss of “new” descriptive words. As I’ve said before, you never cease to amaze me. Awesome shot.

The larger image is majestic! It shows how sharp and clear the image is. Feels wet and sparkly.
