Yes, she certainly knew I was there, but couldn’t quite figure me out.
She ended up coming in so close to me to check me out that the lens I had on my camera couldn’t even focus on her. Now THAT’S close!! I could have taken one big step, reached out and touched her.
Thank you to everyone for all te nice comments. I appreciate it.
Ryan,
It looks like she was posing for you! Very nice shot. And thanks so much for stopping by, and your lovely comment on my photo. Your photos inspire me to save some money for a better camera….
BTW, I think you’ll meet your goal of National Geographic photographer sooner than you think! Keep up the good work!
Beautiful. We are animal lovers ’round here and since moving to the south it’s been awhile since I’ve seen deer. This photo was a sight for sore eyes! Thanks for the comment!

Love those Bambis. Good shot, I like the contrast between the deer and the grass.

How did you get so close to fawns? Are they protected in your area?

Oh Deer!
Sorry
Love the crispness of the focus on the foremost deer against the other disappearing into the wood.

Great shot. She still has her spots. She looks as if she is curious about what you are doing.

That is a lovely shot, you must of had on the right deodorant for her to get that close.

So pretty. I can’t wait to see if the group of whitetail that come through our back orchard have any fawns with them soon.
