Another beautiful picture, Ryan.
There’s a certain growing anticipation when I see your name further down the WW list. I almost feel like leaving you till last to hold off the excitement of what your picture is going to be.
I mean, look at this: The carpet of green, large in the foreground; the majesty of the stag, even though small in the middle distance; the juxtaposition of the two trees, dwarfing the stag, and yet mirroring the antlers. And then the misty backdrop.
So much to enjoy.

Some info for ya -
Camera: Nikon D70
Lens: Nikkor 18-70mm
Metering: Spot
Program: Aperture Priority
Aperture: forget, probably around 5 or so
Exposure: 1/1000th second
Post Editing: Some minor tweaks in Photoshop including curve adjustments, brightness/contrast, etc…
Sidenote about the photo. I literally crawled on my stomach through some very cold, wet grass and dirt to sneak up on him. I was drenched and filthy! As you can see, he definitely did see me, but by the time he took off, I managed to get this one decent shot.
